The network
Every iPhone that walks past is working for you
Orbit Tag has no GPS and no SIM. It does not need either. It only has to come within Bluetooth range, up to 60 m in the open, of somebody else’s Apple device, and its position on your map moves on. The 60 m is how far you can ring it, not how far it can be tracked.
Step 1: The tag sends a beacon
A short, anonymous Bluetooth signal goes out every few seconds. It carries no name and nothing a stranger’s phone can read.
Step 2: A passing device picks it up
Any Apple device within range (up to 60 m in the open) adds its own location, encrypts it and hands it to iCloud. No tap, no prompt, no notification: its owner never knows.
Step 3: It lands in your Items tab
Open Find My and the tag shows where it was last heard, with the time beside it. Only your Apple Account can decrypt it.

Where the crowd does the finding
Bike chained at the station
Commuters stream past it twice a day, so if it is moved, the map moves with it.
PE kit left on the school bus
The bus finishes its round, a phone on board hears the tag, and you know which depot to ring.
Wallet under a pub table
Last orders, a full room of iPhones, and the pin is on the right street before you are halfway home.
This is the same Apple Find My network that AirTag reports through, the same relay, the same encryption and the same map, for a fraction of what an AirTag costs.
Location updates depend on an Apple device passing within Bluetooth range; somewhere quiet, with nobody nearby, the map keeps the last place the tag was heard. Ringing it needs your own iPhone within about 60 m. The relaying device stays anonymous and its owner is never told. What it does
Six things this iPhone tracker tag gets right
It lives inside the Find My app that shipped with your iPhone, so there is no second app to install, no login to create and nothing to renew.
Find My compatible, worldwide
Your tag appears in the Items tab beside your AirPods and your iPad. Over a billion Apple devices relay its position anonymously, for free, forever.
Ring it from up to 60 m
Play Sound fires an 80–100 dB alarm. That is loud enough to cut through a sofa cushion, a coat pocket or a full rucksack from 200 ft away.
Told before you have gone far
Leave the tagged item behind and your iPhone buzzes within a street or two, with the last confirmed location already dropped on the map.
Lost Mode hand-back
Flag a tag as lost and whoever picks it up can tap their phone against it to reach you, through Apple Find My, without ever seeing your number.
CR2032, up to 2 years
Twist the back off, drop in a coin cell from any supermarket, twist it shut. The tag outlives its battery instead of being thrown away with it.
IP67 sealed
Dust-tight and sealed against rain, spilled drinks and a brief drop in a puddle.

On your screen
What a Find My compatible tracker actually looks like
No mock-up dashboard, no third-party map. Your Orbit Tag sits in the Items list of the Find My app, one tap from a location and a Play Sound button.

One list, every Apple thing you own
The tag is not quarantined in its own app, it sits alongside your other devices, on the same map, under the same account.
Play Sound reaches 100 dB, from up to 60 m
Close the gap the last few metres by ear, which is the part a map on its own cannot do for you.
Separation alerts, with the last location pinned
You find out you have left something behind while you can still walk back for it, not when you get home.
Up close
Nine millimetres thin, so it goes wherever the thing goes
36.3 mm square with the key ring hole moulded into the shell, no adhesive pad, no plastic holder to buy separately.

Setup
Paired in about the time it takes to boil a kettle
Orbit Tag joins Find My as an "Other Item", the same route Apple uses for its own accessories. No companion app, no account, no subscription.
Step 1: Open Find My → Items
Launch the Find My app on your iPhone, tap the Items tab and choose "Add Other Item".
Step 2: Hold the button
Press and hold the dimple on the front of the Orbit Tag until it chimes, then give it a name. Rucksack, Van keys, whatever it is going on.
Step 3: Attach it and forget it
Thread the key ring through, and from then on the tag is on the map, ringable, and alerting you when you walk away from it.
Requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.5 or later. There is no Android support.

What people say once it is on their keys
Unedited reviews from people who bought this tracker and lived with it.
Seamless iPhone pairing
Bought it for my stroller for a Disney trip and it worked brilliantly. Pairing was fast and sharing the tag with my partner was as easy as an AirTag.

Keeps them on track
Got these for a friend who always misplaces their keys. It has saved them so many times already.
Cameron H.Review on the Amazon listing
Very good
Works exactly as expected. Set up in a minute and the ring is loud.

Find the dog
Great value for a tag on our dog's collar. Locations so far have been spot on.

Gift for my daughter
My daughter has a chaotic house with five kids and a Great Dane. She says this actually finds her keys, unlike the last brand we tried.

Great for the price
Two tags for less than half an AirTag. Battery swap is easy. Only wish it came in more colours.

Questions
Before you order
The ten things people email us about most, answered properly.
Do I need an extra app or a subscription?
Neither. Orbit Tag pairs with the Find My app that is already on your iPhone, and locating it through the Apple Find My network costs nothing, there is no account to create and no monthly fee.
Which Apple devices is Orbit Tag compatible with?
Any iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.5 or later and signed in to iCloud. It registers as an "Other Item" in Find My, exactly like Apple’s own accessories do.
Does this iPhone tracker tag work with Android?
No. It is built for Apple Find My only, so there is no Android app and no way to pair it with an Android phone. Please only order it for someone who uses an iPhone or iPad.
How far away can I ring it, and how loud is it?
Bluetooth reaches up to 60 m / 200 ft for ringing the tag directly, and the alarm is 80–100 dB. Past that range the Find My network still reports its last seen position on the map, anywhere in the world.
What happens if I walk off and leave something behind?
Find My sends a left-behind alert to your iPhone as the tag drops out of range, with the last confirmed location pinned so you know exactly where to go back to.
Put one on the thing you keep losing
Two Orbit Tags, two key rings, and the Find My app you already know how to use.
